What IS a Millie's birthday party?!
It's the coolest, sweetest party around! Great for kids 5 and under, but parties for those of all ages are welcome. You'll get exclusive use of our shop for 2 hours (generally 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.), unlimited Millie's items for your guests (we have multiple packages to select from!), and ice cream themed games & activities. We even offer goodie bags!
Do you require a deposit to book?
Yes. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your date.
How many guests may we invite?
The number of guests allowed is dependent upon the Millie's shop hosting your event! Please share your details via the contact form to receive this info
Do we pay for parents/guardians of children attending?
That's totally up to you. Some party hosts choose to have a drop-off party; some allow parents to stay & pay for their own ice cream or drinks (we do offer 15% off all purchases for all attendees, regardless of party package!); and some hosts treat all attendees, including parents and chaperones, to unlimited free Millie's. We'll help you build the party that's right for you.
Do you have different party package options to choose from?
Yes, we do! From a simple party for 10, to a whole-shop rental, we have you covered. Connect with us for current packages & rates at your nearest Millie's.
How long does the party last?
All parties are 2 hours long unless otherwise scheduled & billed (e.g. whole-shop rental).
What happens during the party? What's included?
There will be custom birthday-kid coloring sheets and activities for guests to do as they arrive. You're also welcome to have snacks or other outside food arranged (see below). At the time identified by you and your party coordinator, guests will be directed to sing "Happy Birthday" and then treat times begins: unlimited Millie's, per your package selections, and cake if provided. After treat cleanup, guests will play Pin The Cherry On The Sundae and have ice cream scoop races as well as additional free time for coloring or host-provided activities.
Can I bring decorations and balloons?
Yes, please feel free to bring decorations and balloons! We do not permit tape or punctures (tacks, nails) to our walls, so please bring removable adhesives for mounting. Your coordinator will also work with you to create custom birthday signs for our promotional screens!
Can I bring in outside food and beverages?
Yes, you can bring in any outside items you'd like, including cake & snacks. Please be advised that you may need to bring additional tables for food setup, and that Millie's cannot provide disposables for items other than our ice cream items (we do not have plates, forks, beverage cups, etc.). Please communicate with your event coordinator about alcoholic beverages, electrical access for food warmers, etc.
Is the party safe for kids with food allergies?
Millie's strives to be allergen-friendly, and a place where all kids can enjoy ice cream safely. We have many gluten-, dairy-, and nut-free options, as well as an allergen-safe service protocol, and can create custom allergen-free menus for guests as needed. Please communicate all allergies and food restrictions to your event coordinator.
Is gratuity included in my total?
No, it is not, but it is always appreciated.
