Effective date: October 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Millie’s Homemade LLC (“Millie’s”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our websites, order from our online store, join our loyalty program, apply to work with us, or contact us. It applies to millieshomemade.com, our online store at millieshomemadeshop.com, and millies.fun, and to the forms on those sites.

Some services we use or link to are operated by other companies under their own privacy policies, and this Policy does not describe them: Square, which runs our in-store point of sale, our online ordering, and a Square-hosted loyalty enrollment page linked from our website footer; third-party delivery platforms (for example DoorDash and UberEats) that list our menus; and any franchising application process hosted elsewhere. When you use those services, their policies apply.

1. Information you give us

We collect the information you choose to provide when you fill in a form, place an order, or write to us. Depending on what you do, that includes:

  • Contact and general inquiries: your name, email address, the subject of your inquiry, and your message.
  • Catering and events: your name, phone number, email address, the date and time you want, event type, the event address, any allergies you tell us about, number of guests, how you heard about us, and any notes you add.
  • Birthday parties and fundraisers: your name, phone number, email address, the date and time, the Millie’s location, your organization’s name (fundraisers), any allergies you tell us about, number of guests, and any notes.
  • Careers: your name, phone number, email address, date of birth, the hours and location you are seeking, your work history and skills, an optional resume, whether you are seeking seasonal or full-time work, why you want to join, days you cannot work, and your start date.
  • Loyalty (Sprinkles) sign-up on our location and campaign pages: your name, email address and phone number; optionally your date of birth and ZIP code; and your separate choices about marketing email and the loyalty program (see section 5).
  • Franchise inquiries: your name, email address, phone number, best time to contact you, home address, the region you are interested in, your estimated net worth and liquid capital available to invest, and your restaurant, retail or franchise experience.
  • Online store orders: your name, email address, phone number, shipping address, and the items you order. Your payment card details are entered on and processed by Square; we do not store card numbers on our systems.

2. Information collected automatically

2.1 With a form submission or order

When you submit a form we also record your IP address, the date and time of the submission, and the page you submitted it from. On our loyalty sign-up forms we also capture advertising and referral identifiers that are not shown on the form: campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), a Google click identifier (gclid), a Meta click identifier (fbclid), the web address you arrived from, and the page you landed on. We use these to attribute your sign-up to the advertisement or link that brought you to us. When you use our online store, we record checkout activity (such as the items in your cart and the shipping state you chose) against an anonymous session to understand where checkouts succeed or fail.

2.2 On every page

Pages on our websites load code from third parties. Loading that code means those companies can receive your IP address and information about your visit, whether or not you fill in anything:

  • Google: Google Tag Manager (which loads Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking), Google Maps, Google reCAPTCHA (spam protection on forms), Google Fonts, and Google-hosted code libraries.
  • Premion: an advertising measurement pixel.
  • DoorDash: a storefront ordering script.
  • Adobe (Typekit): web fonts.
  • Automattic (Akismet): spam filtering on our form pages, which involves sending submission details for a spam assessment.
  • Other technical providers whose code is loaded to make the sites work, including our hosting providers and public code libraries.

2.3 Cookies and tracking choices

The services above set cookies and similar identifiers. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies; if you do, some features may not work. Our websites do not currently display a cookie banner and do not respond to “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control browser signals. You can limit ads personalization through your Google settings at adssettings.google.com and through the industry opt-out pages at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.

3. How we use your information

  • To answer your inquiry and arrange the event, party, fundraiser or order you asked about.
  • To route your inquiry to the right Millie’s location or franchisee. We use the ZIP code or location you give us to decide which Millie’s mailbox and which store or franchise owner receives your message.
  • To process, ship and support your online store orders, and to send you order confirmations and shipping updates.
  • To remind you about an online store checkout you started but did not complete, if you gave us your email address during checkout; every reminder includes a way to stop them.
  • To consider your job application.
  • To evaluate a franchise inquiry.
  • To run the Sprinkles loyalty program, if you sign up for it.
  • To send you marketing email, if you asked us to (see section 5).
  • To measure our advertising and understand how people find and use our sites.
  • To protect our sites and customers, detect fraud or abuse, comply with law, and enforce our terms.
  • To create de-identified and aggregated information, as described in section 4.1.

4. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or lease customer lists. Your information reaches the following recipients only for the purposes above:

  • Millie’s staff, our stores, and our franchise owners. Inquiries are emailed to Millie’s mailboxes and, where your inquiry relates to a particular area or store, to the franchisee or store team responsible for it.
  • Our website, email and hosting providers (including SiteGround, Render, Google Workspace and Resend), which store and transmit these messages and records for us.
  • Our loyalty sign-up processing service. When you submit a loyalty sign-up on our site, your details are transmitted to a hosted database service (Supabase) that processes loyalty sign-ups for us and enrolls you in our loyalty program on Square.
  • Square, if you order, pay, or enroll in loyalty through a Square-operated page or our online store checkout. Where you enroll on Square’s own page (section 5.1), Square collects that information directly under its own privacy policy.
  • Shipping carriers (UPS) receive your name, address and phone number to deliver online store orders.
  • An automation service (Zapier) forwards franchise inquiries to our franchise development team.
  • Analytics and advertising providers, as described in section 2.2. Our use of advertising measurement pixels may be treated as “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some state privacy laws; section 7 explains how to opt out.
  • Others when required by law, to comply with legal process, to protect the rights, property or safety of Millie’s, our customers or the public, or in connection with a sale, merger or reorganization of our business, in which case this Policy will continue to apply to your information.

Service providers listed above are permitted to use your information only to provide their services to us and are required to keep it confidential.

Research and technology partners receive only de-identified or aggregated information (section 4.1), never information that identifies you.

4.1 De-identified and aggregated information

We may create information that has been de-identified or aggregated so that it no longer identifies you and cannot reasonably be linked back to you or your household, for example totals, trends and patterns across many customers, orders or locations. We use this information to run and improve our business, and we may share or license it to third parties, including research and technology partners who use it to build, train and evaluate analytics and artificial intelligence models.

When we hold or share de-identified information, we take reasonable measures to keep it de-identified, we do not attempt to re-identify it, and we contractually require anyone who receives it not to re-identify it or try to link it to any person or household. De-identified and aggregated information is not personal information under this Policy.

5. Marketing email and the loyalty program

Our loyalty sign-up forms ask you two separate questions, each with its own checkbox, and neither is pre-selected for you. The wording you see on the form is: “Sign me up for Millie’s Email Marketing. By signing up, you consent to receive marketing emails from us, including updates and special offers.” and “Sign me up for Sprinkles Loyalty Rewards. By signing up, you agree to enroll in our loyalty program and receive rewards and program-related communications.” Your answers are stored with your sign-up.

You can stop marketing email at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing message or by emailing hello@millieshomemade.com. We will still send you transactional messages you have requested, such as order confirmations and replies to your inquiries.

5.1 Two ways to join our loyalty program

Millie’s currently offers two separate enrollment paths. The Sprinkles Loyalty Rewards sign-up form on our location and campaign pages is operated by Millie’s and this Policy covers it. The loyalty enrollment page linked from the footer of our website is hosted and operated by Square; if you enroll there, the information you provide is collected by Square on Square’s page and is governed by Square’s privacy policy, including any text messages you agree to receive from the program.

6. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Website inquiries, job applications, franchise inquiries, loyalty sign-ups and order records are currently retained until we delete them at your request or under a retention schedule we adopt. You can ask us to delete your information at any time using the contact details in section 9.

7. Your privacy rights and choices

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to provide you a copy, and you can opt out of marketing email (section 5) and of the advertising measurement described in sections 2.2 and 2.3. Depending on where you live, some of these rights may be guaranteed to you by your state’s privacy law; we honor these requests for everyone regardless of where you live.

To make a request, email hello@millieshomemade.com with the subject line “Privacy request”, or write to the address in section 9. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, for example by confirming details of the inquiry, order or sign-up the request relates to. We will respond within 45 days, and we will tell you if we need more time or if we cannot honor part of a request (for example, where we must keep order records to complete a transaction, to comply with the law, or to detect fraud). If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and we will reconsider it. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If you use an authorized agent to make a request, we may require proof of their authority.

8. Children

Our websites are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Details about a child’s birthday party are provided to us by the adult who books it. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us at hello@millieshomemade.com and we will delete it.

9. Security, and how to contact us

Our websites use HTTPS (TLS) encryption to protect information in transit. Payment card details for online orders are handled by Square and are not stored on Millie’s systems. No method of transmission over the Internet or of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have a question or complaint about this Policy, or believe we have not followed it, contact us:

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when our services, our data practices, or the law change. We will post the updated Policy on this page with a new effective date, and if the changes are significant we will provide a more prominent notice on our websites. If we want to use personal information we already hold in a way that is materially different from what this Policy said when we collected it, we will ask for your consent first. Your continued use of our websites and services after an update means the updated Policy applies.
