A tribute to the late mother of Eddie Byas, our longest-tenured ice cream maker without whom we would never have survived this decade. Her name was Barbie and she loved banana splits, so Eddie spun a silky banana ice cream and loaded it with crushed peanuts, chocolate chips, and a ribbon of strawberry jam in her honor.
